Canyon Wake Park - full cable wake park in Chiang Mai, Thailand

About Canyon Wake Park

Canyon Wake Park is the only cable wake park in northern Thailand, located at the Grand Canyon water park complex in Chiang Mai. The setting is dramatic, with red canyon cliffs surrounding the lake creating a unique backdrop that no other Thai park can match. The park runs a full-size cable with obstacles for all levels.

Sessions cost approximately 600-800 THB for 2 hours with equipment included. Canyon Wake Park has the highest Google rating of any wake park in Thailand at 4.9 stars. Beyond wakeboarding, the Grand Canyon complex offers cliff jumping, swimming, and an inflatable aqua park.

A restaurant overlooking the canyon serves Thai food and drinks. From Chiang Mai city centre, the park is about 30 minutes by Grab (150-250 THB). The cooler northern climate (especially November to February) makes riding here more comfortable than Bangkok parks during those months.

Best for riders visiting Chiang Mai, anyone who wants the most scenic wake park in Thailand, and groups looking to combine wakeboarding with cliff jumping and swimming.

Fantastic. What an incredible way to spend a day in Chiang Mai. Roman and Jay Jay were exceptional coaches. I had never wakeboarded before yet with their help I was up and riding by the end of my session.

Jay Jay the instructor at Canyon Wakepark is fantastic, and is included in the price (550 baht for an hour of instruction and wakeboarding in a group).

Amazing experience. Learned to wakeboard in 15 minutes, which was exhilarating. Great coaches and atmosphere, we will be back.

Amazing experience in Chiang Mai. Such an amazing experience to do wakeboard. It's refreshing and very fun. I definitely recommend it.
